The new application permissions capabilities for the Microsoft Planner APIs include two sets of enhancements that will make it easier to work with tasks in your organization. Business Scenario capabilities will enable integrations with external sources so those external inputs can be represented as tasks for the appropriate team. Application permissions will be added to all existing Planner API capabilities.

Outlook on the web can now proof your writing simultaneously in up to three languages. Users must select which languages to add in Editor settings.
The RSVP experience will appear more consistent across the various locations from which a user can RSVP within both mail and calendar. For most RSVP flows, a user will be presented with the option to email an organizer, send an optional message to the organizer, and respond yes/no/maybe to the invite. This is not new functionality, but will be presented earlier in the RSVP flow in some RSVP locations and will have a more consistent visual treatment across all RSVP locations.
Stories allow people and leaders to share updates, experiences, vision, and perspective on your storyline, using short videos or photos. Stories are a new way to express yourself authentically, and to reach and engage people in your organization across Viva Engage, Teams, Outlook, and Yammer.
Currently, the subject line of the Briefing email is static to “Your daily briefing.” Beginning in November, the briefing email will feature dynamic subject lines based on particular content available in the email for the day and will enable users to have a quick preview of values presented in emails directly from the subject line.

Teams Rooms users can now start a Microsoft Whiteboard in a Teams meetings using the in-meeting share content function.
With the new patterns of work, whiteboarding is a key feature to enable collaboration between in room and remote users. When Whiteboard is started from the room, it is attributed to the meeting organizer so that they can manage access to the artifact.
Duplicate contacts are hard to remove manually and as a result people information often remains scattered across contacts. Microsoft is offering end users of Outlook Web App (OWA) the ability to discover duplicate contacts and merge information for a profile into one contact. As a tenant admin of an organization, you are receiving this message because your end users may be introduced to duplicate contact merge suggestions in OWA.
This means that our service will proactively detect duplicate contacts for users of your tenant and will present merge suggestions in OWA. All user merged contacts will appear subsequently in Outlook Desktop and Mobile. As part of feature completeness, we provide an option to control the audience within your organization. You can control the audience for this feature by disabling/enabling the service for a part of your organization or for your entire organization. For details, please refer to the ‘What you need to do to prepare’ section below.
MyAnalytics dashboard users will be automatically redirected to the Viva Insights web app as a central place to explore work-pattern insights alongside actionable experiences to improve productivity and wellbeing. Select MyAnalytics functionality (focus time booking and insights, quiet time settings and insights, meeting habits, and settings) will continue to be available as a part of the Viva Insights apps in Teams and web. Additional functionality from MyAnalytics (including some personal network and collaboration insights) will be included in the Viva Insights web app with future updates.
