Today we are announcing our intention to rebrand Yammer into Viva Engage in order to provide a consistent and delightful experience to our customers. This change will happen across all existing Yammer surfaces– including web, mobile, and integrations (Embed, SharePoint and Outlook) and will occur throughout 2023. In the coming months you can expect Yammer to become Viva Engage through the update of brand elements like logo, app icon and name.

We have made updated to the Shared experience in the left nav in OneDrive which will help users quickly get back to shared content. The Shared with you view within Shared will show files and folders shared across various Microsoft 365 apps so that users can find files shared with them over email, chats, and meetings all in one place. In addition, users can identify updates to files by using the activity column, as well as leverage filter pills to easily find files.

In the event of a network outage, users will soon have access to new call controls with Survivable Branch Appliance. Users will be able to use contact search, dial by name, and initiate a call from their call history. When connected to the same SBA and network, VoIP calls to peers will be routed through PSTN if the call recipient has an associated phone number.
