This template will enable licensed Syntex users to apply a Contracts Management site template directly from the in-product apply a template UX. This site template include automatic data classification and extraction, a preconfigured content assembly model, templates and preconfigured workflow. It also includes learning material around how to use and extend this template to customize it for your own use case!
Microsoft Graph Connectors that allow to index third-party content into Microsoft Graph to enable intelligent experiences like Microsoft Search will be available in Government Community Cloud (GCC). GCC-H and DoD launch is coming soon.
Currently, it is not possible to work on a file, chat, look into activity while managing time on teams’ calendar. The reason for this is all these are in different apps located in the left app tray. Users have to switch back and forth between these apps to multi-task in calendar and there are times the data/context gets lost while switching between these apps. We have heard this feedback and as a first step towards solving this, scheduling form can now be popped out as a separate window. This scheduling form new window can be seen while creating a new meeting An existing meeting can also be now popped out by clicking on the icon on scheduling form. Our tech wizards have also made some improvements to calendar in this version which makes it faster to load now. In our next versions, we also plan to pop out the complete calendar app as a new window.
We are introducing an improved Admin experience for Admins within Viva Learning app so that they can have all Viva Learning specific app controls at a single place.
As a part of this feature, Viva Learning assignments will now be available in Viva Connections app in Teams.
This feature allows users to control the playback speed of videos stored OneDrive & SharePoint. Users will be able to slow down or speed up the playback (0.5x -2x) while watching the video. Note: Teams meeting recordings already have this functionality, we are now adding it to all other videos stored in OneDrive and SharePoint.
Over the last few months, the experiences and functions of Microsoft Defender for Identity have been made available in Microsoft’s extended detection and response (XDR) platform, Microsoft 365 Defender. Merging identity data and functions into this XDR experience is a valuable addition to a security teams capabilities, with identity providing important context to detection logic and investigation potential.
To enhance the identity experience further, we are making some changes to the User page in Microsoft 365 Defender. We are standardizing the look and feel to align with the other entity pages available in Microsoft 365 Defender. The structure and layout of all entities should be consistent after this release. These changes are pre-requisites for upcoming functionality, due to land later in the year.
We are continuing to expand the information that we deliver to Knowledge Managers to better equip them to manage Viva Topics knowledge networks. As part of this process, we have added two new columns in the Manage Topics view: Topic Score and Org Topic Score.

Surveys and shared plans to help promote effective meeting habits are being introduced for users with Viva Insights subscription.
Meeting effectiveness surveys enable meeting organizers to view aggregated feedback from attendees on the meetings they organized. Organizers can also gain insights into successes and opportunity areas to promote a healthy meeting culture.
