We’ve released updates to the following update channel for Microsoft 365 Apps:

Microsoft Defender for Office 365 will introduce an Agentic AI grading system by late November 2025, using large language models to analyze phishing submissions faster with natural language explanations. This feature is enabled by default, requires no admin action, and integrates AI with existing models and human review for accuracy.

Update: Release of this feature has been updated.

Microsoft Edge for Business will support Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat to summarize and provide context from browser tabs, Microsoft 365 documents, and YouTube videos starting mid-November 2025. The feature is off by default, respects DLP and policy settings, and requires Entra ID sign-in and appropriate licensing.

Microsoft Teams will soon detect and warn users of tenant-owned domain impersonation in external chats, displaying high-risk alerts when suspicious. This feature, enabled by default for organizations allowing external access, launches December 2025 across all platforms with no admin controls or required actions.

The Microsoft 365 Copilot app will have a simplified, flattened navigation menu with logically grouped features. The rollout starts mid-November 2025 for targeted release and December 2025 for general availability, completing by January 2026. No admin action is required.

The Learning agent is now available in Frontier, offering personalized microlearning and Copilot tips within Microsoft 365 tools. It’s deployable via the Copilot Control Center, requires Microsoft 365 Copilot licensing, and is opt-in for admins. Frontier features are experimental and subject to change.

The Workforce Insights agent, launching November 24, 2025, in Frontier for Microsoft 365 Copilot, helps leaders analyze staffing, skills, and organizational structure using organizational and people skills data. Available to organizations with 50+ Copilot licenses, it supports deployment control and requires setup of data prerequisites.

Microsoft Security Copilot is now included at no extra cost in Microsoft 365 E5, providing integrated AI-driven security agents across Defender, Entra, Intune, and Purview. Customers receive monthly Security Compute Units based on user count, with phased rollout and admin controls via Entra ID group membership.

Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat will expand Outlook support to entire inbox and calendar, add Agent Mode in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint using web data and referenced files, and introduce specialized agents powered by Anthropic’s Claude model. Rollout starts January 2026; no admin action required except connecting to Claude.
