eSignature for Microsoft 365 will add a drawn signature option for signing PDFs, allowing use of stylus, touch, or mouse. Rolling out worldwide from mid-March to mid-May 2026, enabled by default with no admin changes needed. Users can switch between drawn and typed signatures.
Viva Glint notifications in Microsoft Teams will now appear in each user’s configured language instead of the tenant default, starting mid-February 2026. This change requires no admin action; users should ensure their Viva Glint dashboard language is set correctly for proper localization.
Microsoft updates Copilot Studio terms effective February 2026, adding commitments on Query Data from Entra ID use with Bing Search. Data is not used for Bing improvement, advertising, or AI training, remains confidential, and no user or admin actions are required.
Starting January 30, 2026, Microsoft Entra ID Governance requires tenants to link an Azure subscription to use guest governance features. Without this, creating or updating guest-scoped policies will be blocked. Existing policies run, but new actions need subscription-linked billing under the Monthly Active User model.

Access to People Skills on the Microsoft 365 profile card is expanding to Microsoft Teams. With this update, employees will be able to view skills directly on the profile card in Teams—making it easier to learn about colleagues, build meaningful connections, and manage their own skills profile right from within their everyday flow of work.
Buildings, rooms and desks that are added to the Places directory will have new profile cards, accessible from Copilot Chat and across other Microsoft 365 entry points.
