Power Platform – Two new telemetry data streams are now available in Public Preview
We are announcing the Public Preview of two new telemetry data streams within Power Platform’s integration with Azure Application Insights:
- Microsoft Power Automate cloud flow telemetry data
- Dynamics 365 Customer Service telemetry data
With these new telemetry data streams, administrators can connect their workloads to Azure Application Insights to monitor, diagnosis and configure alerts within Azure Application Insights to manage Power Automate and Dynamics 365 Customer Service deployments.
Please note that when this feature transitions to General Availability, it will be available for managed environments only. Users will need a Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, or Dynamics 365 license with premium use rights. The premium use rights requirement and managed environment restrictions are relaxed for this Public Preview only.
What do I need to do to prepare?
Review the product documentation to learn how to configure an Azure Application Insights connection and the telemetry available for Microsoft Power Automate and Dynamics 365 Customer Service solutions. To set up data export in the Power Platform admin center, you’ll need a Power Platform admin, Dynamics 365 admin, or Microsoft 365 Global admin role. Enablement of Application Insights is limited to customers with premium Dataverse licenses available for the tenant.
