Microsoft Viva Insights is introducing a new “Brokers of Information flow” insights category in the Change Management template, highlighting key employee groups that disseminate information. This feature will roll out globally from mid to late February 2025. No admin action is required, but user notification and documentation updates are recommended.
Microsoft Purview will retire the event alerts capability within the Purview Audit solution on March 24, 2025. Existing alert policies created through the Audit solution will stop generating alerts, and related cmdlets will be retired. Users should recreate these policies through Purview DLP, which remains unaffected.
Microsoft Viva’s Feature Access Management will support the AI admin role starting mid-February 2025. AI admins can manage Copilot features without extensive Global admin permissions. This includes current and future Copilot features in Viva. No admin action is required for the rollout. More details are available here.

The new interface maintains the same usability features you are accustomed to, ensuring a seamless transition without significant changes to how you navigate the roadmap. However, the backend has been upgraded to be produced from our Change Communication engine. This upgrade lays the groundwork for future enhancements, providing us with the flexibility to introduce new features and improvements over time.
