With privacy and security restrictions, we have implemented a user-level IT admin policy for admins to choose whether some or all users in the company can use Collaborative Annotations. Currently, there is a way to turn Annotations ON or OFF through cmdlet Set-SPOTenant-IsWBFluidEnabled, this will also influence Whiteboard.
We are introducing the capability to upload files from OneDrive from Teams Mobile chat and channel for iOS and Android. Additionally, users will be able to view Recent files and attach the most used files upfront from the Recent section.

The animated background feature in Teams Meetings allows users to replace their existing background with a dynamic animation for a more immersive virtual environment. It offers various options to enhance meeting experience with creativity and personalization according to users’ preferences. Currently, only pre-defined backgrounds from Microsoft are supported. Animated backgrounds are identified by the small video icon in the bottom-left corner of the preview picture.

Microsoft Graph meeting recording API allows developers access to Teams meeting recordings once the meeting is completed.

Shared line appearance lets a user choose a delegate to answer or handle calls on their behalf. We are launching a simplified experience for users who have set up call delegation which will be available on the Teams desktop app and Teams phone devices. The new UI will allow delegates to easily switch between the different delegator lines they manage and view call history for the delegator’s line.
Delegators will be able to view and join active calls handled by the delegate and grant delegates permission to join active calls.
IT admins will be able to add external partners with phone-based Teams accounts not managed by an organization to their organization’s extended directory. These external users can have a company curated user profile including location and job role. Users in the organization, who are enabled for Teams external access, can search for these external users by name and establish 1:1 or group chats, just like they do with internal users.
This feature update will allow Microsoft Teams EHR Connector to automatically supply Epic EHR systems with customer specific public keys for OAuth2 authentication during EHR Connector meeting launches. This differs from the pre-existing workflow where public keys were manually uploaded into Epic. By automating this process, the feature provides reliability and security improvements by allowing more frequent automated rotation of certificates by avoiding manual steps in the rotation process.

The Teams Webinar Graph APIs allows users to get webinar data like attendee names, attendance duration, registration, and registrant cancellations. This data can be exported to be used in 3P systems including CRMs, marketing automation tools, LOB and Workflow apps. These APIs are designed to support business-to-business workflows.
To support mobile and flexible work styles, the Microsoft Teams Shared Device license will be available on the Teams mobile app on Android. This will enable Android phones to be set up as shared devices. Walkie Talkie, call queues, auto attendants, cloud voicemail, call park and all other calling features currently supported for common area phones will be available through the Teams Android app.
Stream videos that are saved in OneDrive and SharePoint are now embedded in chat and channels enabling users to preview and play them directly in Teams without the need to open a browser window.
