Microsoft Edge v.93: Policies to bypass ClickOnce and DirectInvoke prompts

Starting with Microsoft Edge version 93, we have updated our policies to enable bypassing ClickOnce and DirectInvoke confirmation before opening specified file types from specified domains. To bypass prompts, you will need to: Enable AutoOpenFileTypes policy and list the specific file types that ClickOnce and DirectInvoke should be disabled for and Enable the AutoOpenAllowedForURLs policy and set the list of specific domains that should bypass prompting.

Outlook: Outlook on the web – Share to Microsoft Teams

Send a copy of email messages or conversations, including attachments, into Teams chats and channels or start a Teams chat related to a specific email message. When sharing to Teams from Outlook on the web, a popup window will appear to confirm to which channel or person you want to share, you can also select whether you want to include attachments or not.

Microsoft Defender for Identity: Alert exclusion in Microsoft 365 security center

One of the most widely used features relating to alerting in Defender for Identity is being able to tune them and make sure you are only alerted on what should be getting your attention. With the exclusion capability landing in Microsoft 365 security center for Defender for Identity, you can tune the alerts and filter the detections based on entities that matter to you. We are also improving the experience in the allow-list functionality, making sure you can allow entities across all detections as opposed to allowing them per detection.

Enhancements to the cumulative exfiltration activity presentation to update how we explain the user’s activity compared to the organization. Enhancements to assign higher risk scores when cumulative exfiltration activity involves Microsoft Information Protection labels that have been configured as priority content in a policy.
