SharePoint classic site usage reports to be moved to a new link

We are relocating classic usage and popularity reports in the SharePoint admin center classic site collection settings.

Key points

  • Timing: mid-April through late May
  • Roll-out: tenant level
  • Control type: admin UI
  • Action: review and assess

How this will affect your organization

In mid-April, SharePoint site administrations will no longer be able to access Popularity and search reports found in Classic Site Collection Home > Site settings > Site Collection Administration > Popularity and Search Reports.

Current location:
Classic Site Collection Home > Site settings > Site Collection Administration > Popularity and Search Reports
Current view
View image in new tab

Instead, they can find this information in a new set of reports found in Site Collection Administration. In addition, daily reports currently display 14 days of data; we are increasing this to 31 days .

New location:

Classic Site Collection Home > Site settings > Site Collection Administration > Search Reports
Settings
View image in new tab

What you need to do to prepare

Share this information with anyone who reviews the SharePoint classic site collection usage reports.
