Updating service plan name for Microsoft 365 Chat to Microsoft Copilot with Graph-grounded chat

Microsoft 365 Chat service plan name is changing to Microsoft Copilot with Graph-grounded chat starting March 20th, 2024. No disruption is expected, and no action is required from users. Admins with automation referencing service plan names should update their configuration. Users can review all service plans associated with Copilot for Microsoft 365 using the provided link.

Beginning March 20th, 2024, we’re updating the name service plan name of Microsoft 365 Chat to Microsoft Copilot with Graph-grounded chat. This change is to align the current name of the service plan with the product name.

Effective March 20, 2024:

Service Plan: Microsoft Copilot with Graph-grounded chat 

Service Plan SKU: 3f30311c-6b1e-48a4-ab79-725b469da960 

Part number: M365_COPILOT_BUSINESS_CHAT 

Feature: Microsoft Copilot Graph-grounded chat 

How this will affect your organization

No disruption is expected and no action is required from you. Some customers may have automation created that references service plan names. In those cases, admins should update their configuration to reference the updated service plan name.
