We have updated the Yammer Conversations web part for SharePoint to add new configuration options including:

• New horizontal layout – showcase Yammer conversations from your community, topic or user horizontally, making it easier to see many conversations at once
• New filter option to show only Questions or All Conversations – showcase recent questions from a community or topic​
• New configuration option to show or hide the Yammer publisher– curate the content displayed

When this will happen:

We expect this rollout to begin in mid-June and for the rollout to be fully completed by late June.

How this will affect your organization:

Existing Yammer Conversations web parts will remain unchanged, new configuration options can be found and adjusted in the configuration panel.

You might want to notify your users about these new configurations and update your training and documentation as appropriate.
