New Service – Scheduler for Microsoft 365

Scheduler is an add-on service for Microsoft 365 that enables a digital assistant to schedule your meetings through email. Licensed users just have to add the assistant’s email address to an email conversation to delegate the scheduling to the assistant for both, internal and external meetings.

The Scheduler service will be available WW but in English only.

Exchange Admins can now use Integrated Apps in Microsoft Admin Center

Now Exchange Admin can access the Integrated apps experience in Microsoft Admin center under the Settings tab from where they can directly discover, deploy and manage Microsoft 365 add-ins. If the add-ins are part of M365 Apps developed by Microsoft partners they will also be able to discover other apps and deploy those add-ins, they have permissions to.

Play My Emails in Outlook launching internationally

Play My Emails in Outlook for iOS and Android will soon be rolling out in English worldwide. The feature has rolled out in UK, India, Australia, and Canada (MC224750, November 2020).

Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Introducing Advanced Delivery for Phishing Simulations and SecOps Mailboxes

We are introducing a new capability, Advanced Delivery, for the configuration of third-party phishing simulation campaigns and delivery of messages to security operations (SecOps) mailboxes. Admins will now be able to explicitly configure for the following scenarios and ensure messages configured as part of these scenarios are handled correctly across product experiences:

  • Third-Party Phish simulation campaigns: Admins using a third-party phish education vendor to simulate attacks that can help identify vulnerable users before a real attack impacts their organization.
  • Security Operations (SecOps) mailboxes: These are special mailboxes Admins setup to support the ability for end users to report malicious emails to SecOps teams. These are also used by security teams to collect and analyze unfiltered messages.
