Exchange Online Protection: Quarantine & reports portals are both getting a new look

We wanted to let you know that both the quarantine portal and the reports portal will each be getting a new look and will be available in the new Security portal at security.microsoft.com and protection.office.com.

For Admins who currently use the reporting and quarantine(including end users) portals, this new look will automatically be switched over when the features are deployed.

Update to Exchange Online Reply-All Storm Protection

Sending from a Proxy Address (Outlook on the Web)

We’re excited to announce that Outlook on the web will natively support the ability to choose a proxy (alias) address from a drop-down list right within the compose pane. When the mail is received by a recipient, the FROM and REPLY TO will show that alias, regardless of where the recipient’s mailbox happens to live.

The new Exchange admin center general availability

The new Exchange Admin Center (EAC) is a modern and a performant admin portal. This new portal has all the functionality available in the classic EAC portal along with a lot of new features like tenant-to-tenant migration, automated G-Suite migration, and more.  It also features a personalized dashboard with reports and insights that are designed to increase productivity.

Exchange Online – New cmdlet to make meetings shorter by default

Last year we introduced the ability for individuals to shorten the default length of their meetings. We are now releasing a PowerShell cmdlet to allow you to shorten all events created in Outlook. With this cmdlet you can end your events a few minutes early or start them a few minutes late for all events that are under 60 minutes and over 60 minutes.

Note: There are some limitations for the cmdlet, so please read our blog for details on how to run this cmdlet and its limitations.

New conditions available for auto-labeling in Exchange Online

This update introduces new conditions for auto-labeling in Exchange Online. A policy can now apply a label to mail based on sender, recipient, subject, or header matches without requiring you to scan for sensitive content.

Microsoft Defender for Office 365: Updates to post-delivery detections and investigations

Microsoft Defender for Office 365 is introducing new alert policies related to post-delivery detections as well as enhancements to the Automated Investigation & Response (AIR) playbooks associated with them.

In addition, we are modifying the severity classification for six default alert policies to better align the alerts with their impact on your organization.
