With this capability, OneDrive web users can protect their PDF files with User Password and Owner Password. The User Password is required to open and view a PDF file. The Owner Password is used to set permissions on a PDF file, such as grant permissions on printing, copying, or modifying the content.
Microsoft Teams Phone is launching an improved Calling Plan Porting wizard for the US and Canada in the Teams admin center by early February 2025. Enhancements include simplified portability checks, the ability to save draft orders, and edit validated orders. No admin action is required before the rollout.
Microsoft Viva Insights is introducing a new “Brokers of Information flow” insights category in the Change Management template, highlighting key employee groups that disseminate information. This feature will roll out globally from mid to late February 2025. No admin action is required, but user notification and documentation updates are recommended.
Meeting organizers and schedulers will soon be able to add CVI (Cloud Video Interop) coordinates to Microsoft Teams town hall and webinar invitations, allowing non-Teams users to join using third-party teleconferencing devices.
