We are adding new solutions to the Intune Suite to further unify your advanced endpoint management solutions in one place. This includes adding three new solutions to the license for Intune Suite and offering these additional solutions as standalone add-ons to Microsoft 365 plans that include Intune.
Global and Billing administrators can add trial licenses or choose to purchase licenses from the centralized Intune Add-ons experience in the Intune admin center.
Earlier this year, we announced the opt-in public preview for the new Devices experience in the Microsoft Intune admin center. The Room Remote feature enables touchless meeting experiences by allowing users to control a nearby shared Teams Rooms device (Windows or Android) from their PC companion device with the Teams client.
Admins have the ability to disable Microsoft first party eCDN at a user level within a tenant for users licensed with Teams Premium and switch the users back to using a third-party eCDN as they prefer.
The latest Teams meeting experiences will be available for Teams on the web in Safari and Firefox browsers – including performance improvements, refreshed pre-join, updated meeting stage, and the updated meeting toolbar. (for anonymous join only)
Microsoft had previously instituted temporary capacity increases for Teams live events that were set to expire on December 31, 2023. This included increasing the Live Event capacity from 10,000 attendees to up to 20,000 attendees, increasing the concurrency limit from 15 to 50 simultaneous events, and increasing the Live Event duration from 4 hours to 16 hours. To ensure administrators have adequate time to train their user base, we are extending the timeline for these capacity limit increases for Teams Live Events to now expire on June 30, 2024.

As communicated in MC686187, after March 31, 2024, any classic Teams users that haven’t updated to new Teams, will be automatically updated to new Teams. New Teams will support Teams Live Events until its scheduled retirement on September 30th, 2024. Customers using Teams Live Events within new Teams should not expect any changes to the Attendee & Presenter experiences within new Teams. Teams Live Events Producers and Organizers, which currently cannot use new Teams, will have their capabilities brought to new Teams.
