We are updating the functionality of the “Add to playlist” feature in Stream. Soon you will be able to add a video to playlists stored in SharePoint sites while viewing the video in the Stream web app. To add a video to a playlist in a SharePoint site you must be a member or owner of the site.

The forensic evidence capability is an opt-in add-in to Insider Risk Management, helping customers’ security teams get visual insights into potentially risky user actions that might lead to a data security incident. Forensic evidence is off by default and policy creation requires dual authorization. Customers determine what triggers the feature and manage investigation processes. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

We have updated the experience to resolve Office document conflicts in the OneDrive sync app.
Previously, clicking the “Resolve” action on a conflict would require the user to choose between opening the file in the Office desktop app to merge changes or keeping both versions of the file (forking the document and appending the computer’s name to the forked file). After this change, the user can only open the document with a conflict in Office to merge the changes. The option to fork the document will be removed.

Microsoft Teams users will soon have a dedicated space to manage their meetings – “Meet”. The Meet app is a centralized hub for all meeting activity and content.
The feature is rolling out exclusively on the new Microsoft Teams across Desktop and Web, and will serve as the destination for pre, during and after meeting insights, content, and action items. With the Meet app, users can prepare for upcoming meetings, catch on something they missed, and find meeting content, agenda, notes, chats, and recaps – all in one place

Search now allows results from all mailboxes configured in the app. Searches return in a single search merged results from all their mailboxes on the message list.

iOS’s offline search implementation relies on Spotlight (Apple’s local search index). In some cases, Intune policy can block the use of Spotlight, which will completely disable offline search for users.
We are adding support for offline search even if your company’s Intune policy blocks use of Spotlight.

Tracking and revocation provides admins and end-users greater control over local files. When an end-user protects their local file with an encrypted sensitivity label, they enable the tracking and revocation feature.
With this feature, the file owner and admin of the organization can view user access attempts to the file and whether they were successful. If needed, the file owner or admin can revoke access to the file.

A new calendar setting in Outlook on the web and the new Outlook for Windows will enable users to choose if they want their declined meetings to be removed or kept on their calendar.
Declined events will not show as tentative nor block your free/busy when other people try to book time with you.
