Impact on preview connections created on Microsoft built Graph connectors

We communicated the preview availability of three, Microsoft built, on-prem Graph connectors (Windows file share, MSSQL, Oracle DB, Enterprise websites) in MC248003 (March ’21). We are pleased to share these connectors will be moving to GA in late April.

Note: if you are not using the on-prem Graph connectors outlined above, you can safely disregard this message.

When will this happen:

We will begin the transition to GA in late April and expect to complete by the end of April.

How this will affect your organization:

Once available, any new connections created using these three on-prem Graph connectors will be subject to licensing requirements. In the connections already created, any updates or deletes on the indexed items will be reflected in the index for a few days to provide enough time to either procure the required licenses/quota or delete the connections.

What you need to do to prepare:

Please ensure you have the required quota as per for the licensing requirements before creating any new connections. If you do not intend to use these connectors, please delete any existing connections for a reliable experience.
