We’ll be retiring the Hold statistics functionality from Core eDiscovery and Advanced eDiscovery, due to variability in the consistency of items count and size estimated from the statistics. This variability creates significant challenges for organizations who depend on consistent and repeatable results for eDiscovery legal hold workflows. Instead, we recommend the utilization of search and collection workflows within eDiscovery to get statistics on items on hold, which is where we will continue to invest our development resources.

Presenter modes move and resize options

Presenter modes on Video Based Screen Sharing (VBSS) (Screen or Window sharing) in Meetings enables immersive presentations on Teams meetings merging video and content on the stage. This new feature will allow presenters to decide how they will be shown with respect to the content.

  • In Standout mode, they will be able to choose to appear on the left or right and adjust the overlayed video feed size to customize for each type of presentation!
  • Flexible arrangement and customization of their location on Reporter and Side-by-side modes will also allow for the content size to change according to the presenter’s video size.

Microsoft Information Protection: Feedback Loop for Content explorer and DLP alerts

We’re introducing a compliant feedback mechanism to enable admins to report false positives for sensitive information types (SITs) and trainable classifiers detected and reported in Content explorer and DLP Alerts (non-legacy alerts). This Feedback Loop will improve the overall accuracy of SITs and trainable classifiers as it enables Microsoft to make systematic improvements in the product to reduce future false positives.

Adding a restore option to the Manage Tags Tab

In the near future, we will be adding a restore option on the Manage Tags tab (Manage Team > Manage Tags). This update will make it so that when tags are deleted, they will be kept in a deleted section in the Tags tab and can be restored for up to 30 days from the date of deletion.

Note: This is similar to the lifecycle management for Teams Channels.
