Communication Compliance: Accelerate onboarding with step-by-step guidance (preview)

Microsoft Teams Real-Time Analytics – Extended Telemetry Preview

Site Limits for SharePoint Lists, Libraries, and Subsites

SharePoint recommends a maximum of 2,000 lists and libraries per site, and 2,000 subsites per site. These have been long standing limits for SharePoint but have not been formally enforced.

There have been cases where some sites exceeded these limits, resulting in poor site performance and low-quality viewing experience. One of the most impacted areas is the API performance that degrades significantly when users access data on the sites that exceed their recommended limits. The API calls may time out or get throttled, blocking the users from opening the site or resulting in unexpected failures. In some extreme cases, the issue can impact functionalities beyond these sites.

Universal Print: Information to help troubleshoot print failures

Universal Print wants to eliminate most print failures automatically. For failures that cannot be eliminated completely, we want to make it more informative for admins to troubleshoot the issue. As a first step, the printer’s jobs page will be enhanced by adding more information about the job like size of the print payload, document name, time taken at each step, error code for failed jobs with links to corresponding help page.

Microsoft Teams: Freehand by InVision Feature Change

The Freehand by InVision feature that was able to be initiated from the Share Tray in a Teams Meeting is being removed. Users can use the new Freehand by InVision Meeting App to create and collaborate on Freehands during their meetings.
