We are announcing the ability to track key moments and insights in the Outlook side pane in Microsoft 365 Copilot for Sales. This feature will reach general availability on December 1, 2025.
Microsoft Purview DLP will integrate with iboss and Netskope SASE platforms by mid-November 2025 to enable inline network traffic inspection and protection of sensitive data across 35,000+ cloud apps. Admins must configure integration and manage alerts via Purview and Microsoft Defender.
Microsoft Teams will allow users to chat with anyone via email, even non-Teams users, who join as guests. This feature, enabled by default, rolls out starting November 2025 and supports external communication within organizational policies. Admins can disable it via TeamsMessagingPolicy settings.
Native polls will be integrated into the New Outlook calendar compose form by late 2025, allowing users to propose multiple meeting times and gather attendee preferences, including external participants without Microsoft 365 accounts. The feature is on by default with no admin changes needed.
Microsoft Purview DLP will support Microsoft 365 Copilot to prevent sensitive data leakage by blocking Copilot responses to prompts containing sensitive information. Rolling out from November 2025 (preview) to April 2026 (general availability), admins can configure policies in the Purview portal to safeguard data.
The Office 365 Connectors retirement migration deadline in Teams is extended to March 31, 2026. By December 2025, Workflows webhooks will support messageCard payloads and posting to shared/private channels. Organizations should plan their transition accordingly. No compliance issues identified.
Starting December 1, 2025, we are increasing default storage for Dataverse (per tenant entitlements) across all Dynamics 365 apps (excluding Business Central) and Power Platform. Dataverse and storage for Dynamics 365 enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications (Finance, Supply Chain, Commerce, Project Operations, Human Resources) will now be combined into a shared pool per tenant.
