We are changing the behavior of the ‘Never record’ recording policy for Microsoft Teams live events.
Teams meeting organizers and presenters who use the attendee audio management feature will have greater flexibility to determine when attendees can use their microphone.

To prevent inappropriate messaging behavior, many institutions have had to disable private chat in Microsoft Teams. Now, we’re excited to bring this new release of Teams Supervised Chat that will block restricted users from starting new chats unless an appropriate supervisor is present. We’re making some changes to the release cycle cadence for the Microsoft Edge browser application.
Expected to start with Microsoft Edge major version 94, we will be adopting Chromium’s new 4-week major release cadence. Additionally, we will offer an 8-week major release Extended Stable option for enterprise customers looking for a longer timeline to manage updates.
As previously announced by Microsoft in August 2020, along with other Microsoft 365 apps and services, Yammer will be retiring support for Internet Explorer 11 in August 2021. Customers should use the new Microsoft Edge, or another modern browser.
