For quick ad-hoc sessions that don’t necessarily require setting up a formal meeting, people can use Teams casting to wirelessly connect to a Teams Room running on Windows, and display content from their mobile phone. Users can broadcast their screen and cast content stored on locally on their device or accessible via Office 365.

The ability for Teams clients to stream content from a client to the local network via Network Device Interface (NDI) is being expanded to enable streaming content to select attached hardware devices. Users with the ability to turn on NDI will also be able to push content to attached hardware devices from AJA or Blackmagic Designs. This will enable users to push content from Teams out via attached SDI or HDMI devices.

We’re adding the ability to create private drafts for pages and news posts. A private draft is visible only to the page author, the people the author chooses to share it with, and site admins. It’s great for creating and editing content that’s not ready for others to see except the people you want to collaborate with.

We’re adding support for DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) domains to our advanced delivery feature, enabling administrators to use DKIM domains in addition to sending domains to configure their third-party phishing simulations.

Users will now be able to view captions coming from a CART provider (real-time captioning) within the Microsoft Teams meeting window. Meeting organizers and participants will be able to ask their captioning providers to stream captions to Microsoft Teams.

Currently, users can pin video feeds to increase the size of the desired video on their own screen. Now, we have expanded the ability for users to pin their own video on the stage as well. This way, users can also see their own video in the increased size on their screen.

Use speech-to-text to dictate email messages, available starting in EN-US.

Currently, the user’s video is displayed at the bottom right corner of the meeting screen. This feature allows users to hide their own video during a meeting. This will help reduce distractions during the call while still having your video available for other participants.

Enhanced UX for participant assignment. This includes new capabilities such as sorting participants and rooms and performing multiple selections and assignments to rooms.
