Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Endpoint Data Loss Prevention – Ability to fetch the original file resulting in policy match as evidence (Microsoft Managed storage)

With this capability, Admins can choose to store a copy of the file that resulted in a DLP policy match. The admin uses this data to analyze the contents to confirm the full set of data that was exfiltrated to assess severity. To configure Microsoft managed storage, similar to customer managed storage, the user can go to endpoint DLP settings and select Microsoft managed storage. As compared to customer managed storage – the admin need not configure any additional settings like adding a blob, assigning permissions, selecting storage in policy workflow.

Microsoft Teams: Emoji Reactions Workflows

Seamlessly set up workflows started by emoji reactions in Teams. When a user reacts to a message with an emoji, the workflow will be kicked off to handle support tickets or start a helpdesk workflow.

New Outlook for Windows and Web: Outlook Newsletters – General Availability begins for Targeted Release

Outlook Newsletters, enabling users to create recurring internal email updates, moves to General Availability in mid-2025 with default opt-out activation. Admins can control access via Set-OwaMailboxPolicy cmdlet. Organizations should review policies and prepare support teams for this new communication feature.

Microsoft Teams | New in Admin Center: Self-Serve Fixes for Porting Rejections

Starting late July 2025, Teams Phone admins can self-fix and resubmit certain rejected porting orders via the Teams Admin Center, improving efficiency without removing existing features. Notifications and guided prompts assist corrections, while complex cases still require Microsoft support. The feature is on by default and available to all tenants.

We are announcing the public preview of a new security control that allows Power Platform admins to block the selection and use of agent author authentication for tools in Microsoft Copilot Studio. Microsoft Edge: Improved Navigation to Extension Surfaces

To improve visibility and discoverability, Microsoft Edge is introducing two navigation improvements for extensions. First, if a user has at least one enabled extension, the puzzle icon will be persistent on the toolbar. Second, from the Settings and more menu, the Extensions option will allow users to reach edge://extensions and the Edge Add-ons Store directly.
