When creating an event, you can now book a workspace directly from the location field by searching or tapping Browse Workspaces. This feature is only available if you have workspace bookings enabled in settings and by your IT admin.
Microsoft 365 Copilot now lets users schedule meetings directly within Copilot chat, including finding times, booking rooms, drafting agendas, and sending invites. This feature, rolling out worldwide through January 2026, is on by default for licensed users and requires no admin action.
Starting January 2026, Microsoft Whiteboard will retire the Insert Document feature that allows inserting PDFs and PowerPoint files from OneDrive for Business and SharePoint. Local PDF insertion on Windows Native app remains. Users should use alternatives like converting files to images or sharing links.
Microsoft 365 Copilot is adding scheduled prompt features for Frontier tenants, enabling users to automate recurring tasks with declarative agents and the Web tab. Available from mid-November 2025, users can schedule, edit prompts, and use natural language scheduling in the Work tab. A Copilot license is required.

Public Preview runs mid-November 2025 to late January 2026; General Availability starts late March 2026. Admins with Copilot licenses can use this feature without policy changes. No immediate action required.
