Microsoft Edge for Business will introduce a “What’s New” page that opens automatically after major updates, highlighting new features in Edge and Microsoft 365 Copilot. This rollout starts mid-December 2025, is on by default, and can be disabled by admins via policy. No immediate admin action is required.

Microsoft Service Health Dashboard: Archive service health issues for yourself or your organization

Starting mid-November 2025, Microsoft 365 admins can archive service health issues in the Service Health Dashboard either for themselves or their entire organization. Archived issues move to the Issue history tab and can be restored. This feature is enabled by default with no action required.

Microsoft Teams will introduce a private chat for organizers, co-organizers, and presenters in structured meetings, webinars, and town halls, unifying backroom chat behavior. Rollout starts January 2026, with default backroom chat ON for all town halls. Admins can manage these settings in Teams policies.

Plan for Change: Update to Intune Data Warehouse infrastructure

In mid-February 2026, the Intune Data Warehouse will be updated with a new architecture, resetting historical data to about 30 days, changing licensing definitions, and regenerating surrogate keys. The Intune Data Warehouse (beta) Power BI connector will be discontinued; users must switch to the OData feed.
