Microsoft Teams now enables automatic file and Loop component sharing by default in external 1:1, group, and meeting chats, improving collaboration. Admins can disable this via policy. Guest users can share files from their home tenant. Rollout starts October 2025, completing worldwide by January 2026.
Microsoft Copilot Studio launches a Pre-Purchase Plan (P3) on November 1, 2025, offering annual prepaid Commit Units with discounts, a single usage meter across Copilot Studio, Dynamics 365, and Moveworks, MACC eligibility, and Pay-As-You-Go overage billing. Preparation includes choosing credit options and aligning budgets.
Microsoft 365 introduces the Employee Self-Service Agent in Copilot Studio to streamline HR and IT support. Available from November 2025, it offers a unified interface for employees, configurable by admins, with no default policy changes. Organizations should review workflows and prepare for integration.
Microsoft Purview DLP policies will integrate with Entra Global Secure Access Internet Access to inspect and control sensitive file traffic at the network layer. Public preview starts mid-November 2025, enabling granular policy enforcement across unmanaged cloud apps, with centralized alert management in Purview and Defender.
Microsoft Purview will enforce Entra conditional access policies for eDiscovery admins by blocking non-compliant users from accessing SharePoint content and adding a new ‘FilePreviewed’ audit log activity. Rollout begins now and completes by November 2025, enhancing security and compliance monitoring.
Microsoft Copilot Chat will update its AI Disclaimer experience starting late November 2025, making the disclaimer off by default with an admin toggle to enable it. Enabled disclaimers show bolded text and allow custom URLs. All users see the input box and disclaimer without needing a Copilot license.
Agents in OneDrive, launching worldwide in November 2025, let Microsoft 365 Copilot users group files for AI-powered Q&A, summaries, and collaboration. Agents are saved as .agent files in OneDrive, editable and shareable with teams, enhancing project efficiency without admin action required.
Microsoft Purview Content Explorer will introduce Classifier Scoping, allowing admins to filter data by classifiers, sensitivity, and retention labels to reduce noise. Rolling out from November 2025 to January 2026, scoped views can be saved and reused, with no workflow changes or opt-in required.
