The web-based “Share to Teams” feature in Outlook will retire between September 22 and October 3, 2025. Users without the Teams desktop app will be prompted to install it, while those with the app continue sharing via Teams. No admin action is required, but user notification is recommended.
Teams Rooms on Windows touch boards will support Microsoft Edge in private browsing mode, allowing secure web access during and outside meetings. This feature, off by default and requiring a Teams Rooms Pro license, rolls out from September to October 2025 and offers admin controls for session management and browser settings.

Sections with AI in SharePoint Pages enables users to create rich page sections using natural language prompts powered by Copilot. Rolling out worldwide from mid-August to mid-October 2025, it automatically activates for tenants with a Copilot license, enhancing content creation with context-aware AI suggestions and refinements.
Viva Engage event organizers can export posts from the past 28 days as a .csv file, including content, status, timestamps, upvotes, and reactions. This feature, enabled by default and available on all platforms, rolls out worldwide from September 22-27, 2025, with tenant-level admin control.

Microsoft Planner will support Information Barriers starting September 2025, restricting plan sharing and visibility to authorized groups only. This feature, enabled by default for tenants with Information Barriers, enhances compliance and data protection but is unavailable on mobile apps or browsers. No user action is needed to enable it.
