Copilot in Teams meetings: user-controlled on/off toggle

Microsoft Teams will soon let users toggle Copilot off during meetings, disabling recording, transcripts, and Facilitator while off. Rollout starts mid-September 2025. Users control this via the Copilot icon on desktop, web, and mobile. No admin action is needed, but user notification is recommended.

Improvements to the Windows Autopatch Client Broker

Windows Autopatch Client Broker will be improved with on-demand deployment via Win32 app (replacing PowerShell), scoped by Entra ID groups. Rollout starts September 22, 2025. Existing installations remain unchanged. Admins should prepare in Intune and can still use PowerShell if preferred.

OneNote for Windows 10 End of Support

Secure Boot certificate expiration: What Windows IT admins need to know now

Power Platform – Data masking service updates

We are enhancing the Data masking service to allow administrators to view masked fields via the client and enable auditors to see who accessed and read sensitive fields with unmasked values. These updates will be rolled out globally from August 8, 2025, through September 5, 2025.
