Outlook Newsletters, enabling users to create recurring internal email updates, moves to General Availability in mid-2025 with default opt-out activation. Microsoft Teams | New in Admin Center: Self-Serve Fixes for Porting Rejections

Starting late July 2025, Teams Phone admins can self-fix and resubmit certain rejected porting orders via the Teams Admin Center, improving efficiency without removing existing features. Notifications and guided prompts assist corrections, while complex cases still require Microsoft support. The feature is on by default and available to all tenants.

Microsoft Copilot Studio – Block agent author provided authentication in agent tools

We are announcing the public preview of a new security control that allows Power Platform admins to block the selection and use of agent author authentication for tools in Microsoft Copilot Studio. This feature will be available in preview in early August and will reach general availability in the Fall of 2025.

Microsoft Edge: Improved Navigation to Extension Surfaces

To improve visibility and discoverability, Microsoft Edge is introducing two navigation improvements for extensions. First, if a user has at least one enabled extension, the puzzle icon will be persistent on the toolbar. Second, from the Settings and more menu, the Extensions option will allow users to reach edge://extensions and the Edge Add-ons Store directly.
