We are announcing the deprecation of the Edit your app with Copilot in Power Apps Studio (preview) in canvas apps. The deprecation will begin on January 6, 2026, and will remove the Maker Copilot chat sidecar (accessed by a Copilot button entry point in the header) from the Canvas App studio.

This feature release ‘Always-on diagnostics’, captures critical diagnostic data from onboarded endpoint devices running on Windows OS for EDLP issue reporting. Comprehensive trace logs will be automatically recorded and stored locally on the devices, eliminating the need to reproduce issues when submitting investigation requests to Microsoft. It allows for the collection of detailed traces over extended periods (up to 90 days). While raising tickets to submit investigation requests to Microsoft regarding Microsoft Endpoint DLP, customers can share enhanced diagnostic information with Microsoft without needing to reproduce the exact scenario.
This feature in Purview Compliance Manager shall enable customers to convert complex regulations from PDF documents to actionable controls and actions in multi cloud environment. Customers can use the converted regulatory templates to create assessments and identify compliance gaps, understand and implement controls to improve their compliance posture.

Microsoft Entra introduces soft deletion and restoration for cloud security groups, allowing recovery within 30 days while preserving settings, ownership, and membership. Rollout begins in late October 2025 (preview) and February 2026 (general availability). Deleted groups remove access until restored; audit logs track actions.
Outlook Mobile’s compose toolbar will be updated in December 2025, allowing all users to customize the order and placement of toolbar actions by default. No opt-in is needed, and no immediate action is required, though helpdesk notification or documentation updates are optional. No compliance issues identified.
Outlook Mobile will allow users to customize the multi-select toolbar to reorder actions like Move, Report Junk, Ignore, Pin, and Snooze for multiple emails. This update rolls out worldwide from December 2025 to January 2026, requiring no admin action or compliance changes.
