Agent Mode in PowerPoint lets you create, edit, and refine presentations through natural conversation, directly in your presentation. You can start a new presentation or build on an existing one, asking Copilot to generate slides, update content, improve layouts, and polish design—while preserving formatting, structure, and branding. Copilot uses your files, meetings, emails, and more to help shape content and iterate quickly, and it connects to your brand kit so you can apply branded templates, insert brand‑approved images, and check for brand compliance. Available to Microsoft 365 Copilot–licensed users.

We’re updating permissions to ensure that all roles with access to view DLP policies in Microsoft Purview can also run diagnostics on those policies. This change enhances visibility and empowers authorized users to troubleshoot and validate policy behavior more effectively.

Microsoft Purview: Insider Risk Management – Ability to preview content in Insider Risk Management Alerts

Insider Risk Management is excited to announce the ability to preview content directly within an IRM alert without having to create a case. Users with appropriate permissions will be able to preview relevant files referenced directly within activity explorer in each alert.

Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Meeting recordings now automatically inherit the meeting’s sensitivity label. When label inheritance is enabled in sensitivity label policies, a labeled meeting applies the same label to its MP4 recording, ensuring access controls, data handling rules, and Copilot or agent responses based on transcripts consistently respect the meeting’s sensitivity end to end.

Edge for Business extends its capability to deliver Intune App Protection Policies via Intune MAM. Organizations are enabled to apply data loss prevention controls to Edge for Business profiles even on devices managed by another tenant. This capability enforces Intune MAM policies—such as clipboard boundaries, watermarking, and protected downloads—within the Edge work profile, ensuring sensitive data remains governed by your tenant. When enabled, downloads initiated in Edge are redirected to OneDrive for Business instead of local storage, and leak controls for screenshots and DevTools activate when data protection settings are applied. This approach secures cross-tenant scenarios like contractors or mergers without requiring additional apps or disrupting the end user experience.
