Power BI notification for discontinuation of support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1

We will be retiring the support of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 for outgoing requests from Power BI. Instead, we recommend the utilization of TLS 1.2 or above for outgoing requests, which is where we will continue to invest our development resources. TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 have already been disabled for incoming requests long ago. For security documentation, please refer: Power BI Security – Power BI.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Insider Risk Management – Peer group anomaly detection

With this update, Insider Risk Management can detect exfiltration anomalies when compared with users in similar groups or roles. Insider Risk Management defines similar user groups by grouping together users who access the same SharePoint Online destinations, who are in the same team, or who have similar job titles as configured in Azure AD. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Purview compliance portal: Information Protection – Service side auto-labeling shows file labeling progress for turned on policies in SharePoint and OneDrive (U.S. Government clouds)

Service side auto-labeling will show files to be labeled, files labeled (past 7 days), and files labeled (total) for turned on policies in SharePoint and OneDrive. Clicking on the auto-labeling policy will show files to be labeled and files labeled (total) broken down by the different sites. If a policy includes Exchange as a location, the number of emails that were labeled won’t be displayed because labels are automatically applied as messages are sent.
