As part of the broader effort to bring Microsoft 365 apps and service onto the single cloud.microsoft domain, you can now access Viva Goals with a new URL: goals.cloud.microsoft.
Microsoft Viva Engage will offer the option for poll creators and admins to close voting in polls. Once closed, users cannot vote in the poll.
New commitments covering stored content of interactions with Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365 will be added to existing data residency commitments for Microsoft 365. The commitments will be available for worldwide standard multi-tenant customers through Microsoft Product Terms and data residency product offerings, including the Advanced Data Residency (“ADR”) and Multi-Geo Capabilities add-ons.
Developers can now build and publish Teams apps with Outlook add-ins for use by their customers. Users can acquire these Teams apps with Outlook add-in for themselves via Outlook on the web, new Outlook for Windows, and classic Outlook for Windows clients. Admins can deploy to users from Integrated Apps in Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
The URL for Viva Insights on the web and Viva Insights analyst workbench will be updated as part of a broader effort across Microsoft to transition to a unified domain. The updated URLs are as follows: Viva Insights on the web will be https://insights.cloud.microsoft, and Viva Insights analyst workbench will be https://analysis.insights.cloud.microsoft. Previous URLs will redirect accordingly.
IT admins can leverage Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery and legal hold needs to maintain compliance for webinars.
We are introducing a tenant configuration that admins can apply to limit user actions assigned to presenters in meetings. When enabled, presenters will no longer be able to control attendee mics and cameras, change the role of other participants, lower participants’ hands, and remove participants from the meeting. We want organizers to have control, flexibility, and structure in managing their meetings.
In the Feed tab of Outlook Mobile, we will remove the Sections view in the Feed tab, whose functionality and content can now be found in the vertical feed and elsewhere in the Outlook Mobile app.
