Currently, clicking on cited content in Copilot opens files outside of Copilot. With this new feature, content can be opened directly in Copilot Chat to make viewing documents more streamlined alongside chat. This change is not available on the Microsfot 365 Copilot mobile app or when using Copilot in Edge, Copilot in Excel, Copilot in Word, and Copilot PowerPoint.

Microsoft 365 Copilot’s Researcher agent will add new export formats—PowerPoint, PDF, Infographic, and Audio overview—and improve existing Word and Pages export UX. The rollout starts February 2026, completes by December 2027, requires no admin action, and won’t impact current workflows.

To avoid Exchange Online email disruption by April 30, 2026, ensure your servers and clients trust the DigiCert Global Root G2 CA. This is critical if you disable Windows CTL updates or use older/custom runtimes. Windows systems with default CTL updates enabled require no action.

Microsoft Planner’s feedback experience will align with Microsoft 365 policies starting February 2026. If the screenshot policy is Not Configured or Enabled, users can include screenshots and attachments in feedback. Disabled policies block attachments. No admin action is required unless blocking uploads is desired.


We are introducing the ability to control Power Pages components using client APIs in Power Pages. This feature will reach general availability on February 28, 2026.

Introduces enhanced controls in Content Explorer’s UI, enabling scoped visibility and filtering of SIT and label data. This will help with content discoverability and governance.

Users will now have basic options for printing calendar events in the #newoutlookforwindows and Teams calendar, including choosing whether to show or hide the attendee list on the printout.
