Support for Office 2016 and 2019 ended on October 14, 2025, with no further updates or support. Users should upgrade to Microsoft 365 Apps or Office LTSC 2024 to maintain security, compliance, and performance, as Office LTSC 2021 support ends October 13, 2026.
Starting November 17, 2025, organizations using premium custom HTML templates for Teams Events email notifications must set up and verify their sending domain in Microsoft 365. Without this, custom templates cannot be used, and event emails must originate from an authenticated, customer-owned domain.
We are announcing the ability to reference previous prompts in Copilot for Power Automate desktop in Power Automate. This feature will reach general availability on November 17, 2025.

Microsoft Teams now supports image search in chats and channels, showing results by message content, sender, and location. Features include image suggestions in Autosuggest, an Images filter, and a Search Results Page with context and a carousel view. Rollout occurs November–December 2025 across all environments.
Microsoft 365 admin center will introduce Capacity Pack support for SharePoint Agents and Copilot Tuning in late October 2025, allowing prepaid message bundles to manage costs before pay-as-you-go charges. Admins can allocate packs, monitor usage in PPAC, and control environments via Entra ID. No prior action needed.
Microsoft 365 Copilot chat will preserve conversations by creating session entries in the navigation pane when a prompt is submitted, allowing users to return without losing progress. This update rolls out globally from October to November 2025, requires no admin action, and improves chat continuity.
Starting November 15, 2025, Outlook on the web and new Outlook for Windows will update inline image handling by replacing tokenized URLs with content IDs (cid) in the HTML. Add-ins must update parsing logic to use content IDs and new APIs to correlate and retrieve inline images securely.
M365 Copilot Chat will soon answer questions about the currently open Copilot Pages content, enhancing workflow with side-by-side Chat. Rolling out worldwide from October to November 2025, the feature is on by default, respects existing policies, and requires no compliance changes.
