60-Day Reminder: Upcoming end of servicing date for some editions of Windows 11, versions 21H2 and 22H2

On October 8, 2024, Windows 11, version 21H2 (Enterprise, Education, and IoT Enterprise editions) and Windows 11, version 22H2 (Home and Pro editions) will reach end of servicing. The upcoming October 2024 security update, to be released on October 8, 2024, will be the last update available for these editions. After this date, devices running these editions will no longer receive monthly security and preview updates containing protections from the latest security threats.

Outlook: Move menu improvements

Two improvements are coming to the move menu on Outlook for iOS and Android. Users will now be able to expand and collapse folders within the move menu and see folder hierarchy when searching in the move menu.

Microsoft Word: The Acronyms feature will retire September 2024

The Acronyms feature in Microsoft Word will retire on September 11, 2024, affecting Word for Windows and on the web. Users are advised to use alternative options like Microsoft Search, SharePoint.com, Bing for Work, or Copilot in Word for decoding acronyms.

Microsoft Forms | Data sync to Microsoft Excel: Support for migrating from the older solution to the new solution

Microsoft Forms introduces a new data sync to Excel for the web, replacing the older version by October 20, 2024. Migration support starts late August 2024. Users must manually update to the new solution to continue receiving data updates after the retirement of the older version.

Microsoft Viva: Updates to Connections on the web
