Learner Completion Record bulk export is an extension of an existing feature to download Learner record by username. Bulk export empowers enterprises to download learner records of multiple users in one go using the M365 groups.

We are excited to announce the availability of administrative units (AUs) for Teams administration. AUs are a way to delegate admin roles and delegate administration to a subset of users in your organization, based on attributes such as department, location, or business unit. With AUs, you can create more granular and flexible management scenarios for your Teams environment. You can assign the following roles, allowing them to manage only the users, groups & devices within their AU: Teams Administrator Teams Device Administrator Teams Communication Administrator Teams Communication Support Engineer Teams Communication Support Specialist Teams Telephony Administrator

Administrators can upload and set custom background images for Teams panels through the Teams admin center, enabling them to reflect their organization’s branding. This feature will be available for Teams Rooms Pro and Teams Shared Devices licensed panels.

Microsoft Purview Information Barriers v2 (IB v2) is now available for all new onboarding customers. IB v2 has enhanced architecture which enables the following new features:
Large-scale segment support: The segment limit in organizations has increased to 5,000.
Multi-segment support: Users can be assigned to up to 10 segments.
Flexible user discoverability: Organizations can now choose to allow IB-protected users to discover each other while adhering to IB communication and collaboration policies.

Teams Room on Windows will support up to four single stream cameras that will be shown to remote meeting attendees. With multiple camera view, remote meeting attendees will have the ability to follow all the action in the room and manually toggle between views from the room that they want to see.

The Microsoft Secure Score improvement action for Microsoft Defender for Identity is being updated to better reflect security posture. The recommendation to manage accounts with passwords older than 180 days will be removed from the UI, with the score adjusted accordingly. Rollout starts mid-July 2024, no admin action needed.

Starting July 2024, Copilot in Viva Goals will be managed via Viva Feature Access Management (VFAM). Admins can control its availability for specific groups or entire tenants. Existing settings will be automatically transferred to VFAM without needing reconfiguration. Rollout begins mid-July and completes by late August 2024.
