Microsoft Teams introduces a new meeting option allowing organizers to control who can admit participants from the lobby. This update provides two choices: only organizers and co-organizers, or including presenters. The feature will roll out in July 2024, with no specific action required for implementation. Microsoft Teams meeting organizers can soon manage access to recordings, transcripts, AI recaps, and Copilot features. This will roll out in June 2024, with settings accessible under the ‘Recording and transcript’ tab. Options include access for everyone, organizers only, or specific people. If the property is not set or if the site is in arbitration, users can use this cmdlet to assign the property value for the site for compliance boundary to take effect.
We are improving how suggested times are shown when scheduling a meeting. We are removing the automatically shown suggested times and instead you will need to enable a switch – Find a time – if you want to see suggested times. If you enable the toggle, the new availability view on time suggestion tiles will make it easier to find a suitable time with more clarity on everyone’s availability.
