The Impala connector will be retired and removed from Copilot Studio, Logic Apps, Power Apps, and Power Automate between April 1-14, 2026. Existing connections will stop working, and new ones won’t be allowed. Users should migrate to alternative connectors and update related documentation to avoid disruption.

SharePoint is enhancing its page template gallery with 31 new templates, improved browsing, filtering, search, and unified Pages and News creation. Entry points are expanded across site settings, site contents, onboarding, and Stream app. The feature is enabled by default, requiring no tenant changes, rolling out March–April 2026.

Copilot entry points in Word are being unified and moved to a consistent corner, with contextual access via selection floatie (Windows/Web) or right-click menu (Mac). Word Agent in the chat pane becomes the primary interface. Rollout starts March 2026, no admin changes required.

Microsoft Teams will enhance code blocks by adding default line numbers, improved keyboard navigation, consistent language selection, and collaborative editing via Loop components. These updates, rolling out April–May 2026, improve accessibility and developer collaboration without requiring admin action.

A reimagined SharePoint experience with an intuitive design, streamlined architecture, and AI-assisted features (requiring a Microsoft 365 Copilot license) will roll out from March to May 2026. It includes a redesigned app bar with Discover, Publish, Build, OneDrive, and Home features. Enabling it is optional.

Microsoft 365 Copilot will be integrated into Outlook’s compose window starting March 2026, enabling real-time collaboration for email drafting. Available initially on Outlook web and new Windows Outlook, it is enabled by default for licensed users, with no changes to admin controls or workflows. No action required.

Users can use Copilot to create videos directly from the Clipchamp Start page. Turn a simple prompt or existing document into a polished video in minutes. Admins can now scope Purview collection policies for unmanaged cloud apps based on the presence of sensitivity labels, enabling more precise discovery of sensitive activity across inline network traffic and the Edge for Business browser. Purview DLP policies also support “URL contains text” as a condition and exception, providing finer control over unmanaged cloud app usage across the network and Edge for Business, along with configurable email notifications to alert end users when activities are blocked.

Centralized notification settings streamline channel notification setup and management. Available in Teams settings, users have a single place to review and adjust notifications for all visible channels, instead of managing each individually.
