After executing a search in classic Outlook, users will have the option to easily opt into seeing an AI generated summary of their search results in their Copilot side pane. They can ask further questions in their chat, navigate to cited files and emails, or go back to their email experience easily.

This feature, enabled by default, rolls out worldwide from mid to late October 2025, requiring no admin action but user notification is recommended.
Microsoft Defender for Office 365 Plan 2+ is upgrading its Automated Investigations and Response (AIR) platform, starting with the user submission playbook, to improve speed and scalability. Rollout begins October 2025, with faster investigations, no downtime, unchanged workflows, and no admin action required.
Users can quickly add a Search result as a reference to a Copilot Notebook within the M365 Copilot app.
