This release features user experience improvements when Microsoft Teams users interact with users in another tenant that belongs to their organization (e.g., for conglomerates, as a result of mergers and acquisitions). Key changes include removing the possibility of split 1:1 chat threads, richer profile information, removal of the “External” label, and introducing support for an optional admin configurable label.

With this update, any SOC analyst with the required customer-determined permissions can access an insider risk summary of user activities that may lead to potential data security incidents, as a part of the user entity investigation experience in Microsoft Defender. This feature can help SOC analysts gain insider risk context for a specific user and make more informed decisions on responses to potential incidents.
Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies based on their own internal policies, governance, and organizational requirements.
Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Some videos are meant to be viewed but not downloaded. Soon you will be able to share videos more securely with the “Can view, but not download” option. This option will be available in the permission drop down in the Microsoft 365 share dialog for Stream videos. When you select “Can view, but not download,” people who access the video you shared will be able watch it, but won’t be able to download or copy the video file.

Your Microsoft Intune account has been updated to the latest service build.
