Previously, admins could not change the retention period set on existing labels configured to start retention from when items were labeled. This feature will remove this restriction, and the resulting behavior will be consistent with other retention label types.

Currently, OCR is available only for standalone Images.
Aim is to Support OCR for images embedded in:
1. Hybrid PDF file – PDF files with both images and searchable text
2. Office files – DOCX, PPTX, XLSX
3. Container files – zip, rar, 7z, etc.

With the enhanced Viva Goals integration with Microsoft Planner, users can now filter their tasks by buckets and labels, and integrate directly with specific tasks, enabling easier portfolio management and customizability for how your organization structures planning.

Users of Planner and Loop will be able to bring their plans into Loop-enabled apps as a Planner component. Using the power of Loop, you’ll be able to view and edit a plan with Planner’s board view in context with your other work. The component will first be available in the Loop app. Support for other Loop-enabled apps will follow.

Data Loss Prevention policy supports a condition “content contains sensitivity label” to detect if a file contains certain label. Today, office (DOCX, PPTX, XLSX) and PDF files are supported.
This feature will support files other than Office and PDF also where MIP label with protection (.PFILE) is applied using AIP labelling client.

This post applies to customers with Exchange Online Protection and Microsoft Defender for Office 365 plan 1 and plan 2 service plans.
We will be updating how tenant and user allows are handled in the filtering stack to better align with customer expectations. These changes will provide more controls for the tenant administrators and ensure that users are better protected.

We are updating Microsoft Default setting to Team Owners and Members for Teams Tag Management settings in Teams Admin Center.
If you have already explicitly made a selection to your Tag Management settings your tenant will not be affected by this change.
