Categories in Outlook and Teams allow users to easily tag and label calendar events. Users can get insights on the time they spend per meeting category in the Viva Insights app in Teams. Using meeting category insights, they can see how their meeting time is distributed (percentage breakdown), how that has changed (meeting trends), and details about each of their meetings contributing to their categories (meeting details). An upcoming update to this feature will allow users to take actions on these meetings to align their time spent in meetings with their goals. These actions include viewing/editing meeting invites, cancelling, declining, and categorizing/recategorizing.

Data Loss Prevention policy in Microsoft Purview supports detecting Exchange email attachments which are password protected using the condition called “Attachment is password protected”. A new product usage report will be made available within Microsoft 365 admin center usage reports to help Admins understand how Microsoft Visio is used within their organization by daily active users and active users by platform.
The report can be viewed for trends over the last 7/30/90/180 days, includes a per-user view, and contains the user’s last active date and license information.

Not all M365 documents are used in the same way. You’ll inevitably have a few that you use every week and some you’ll use occasionally. This is where using Favorites can help you stay organized. Favoriting files is a great way to mark content of personal importance and can help you to get back to the content you’re looking for right away. We have made sure that the favorites experience is consistent across Office.com, OneDrive, Document Libraries, and the Files app in Teams by building on top of the existing pinning and favorites experience in Office.

This change will modify logging and handling of intra-org messages.

Contextual summary will be supported in simulation mode for service-side auto-labeling. When reviewing matched items in the Contextual Summary tab, you’ll now be able to easily review what sensitive information type was found as a match in the document.
