Exact Data Match (EDM) will support string match detection of multi-token (i.e., fields with multiple words separated by spaces or punctuation) corroborative evidence without requiring mapping Sensitive Information Types (SITs) to multi-token corroborative evidence fields.
This feature will allow admins to upload or download a CSV file of unallowed, allowed, and third-party domains defined by admins with the right permissions in insider risk settings to fine-tune the detection of activities involving certain domains. Microsoft Purview Insider Risk Management correlates various signals to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, data leakage, and security violations. Insider Risk Management enables customers to create policies to manage security and compliance. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Meeting category insights in the Viva Insights app helps Viva Insights licensed users understand how they are allocating their time across meeting categories. Today, the feature uses the categories manually assigned by users in Outlook and Teams. In an upcoming update, meeting category insights will begin automatically categorizing meetings for users based on meeting size, cadence, and number of people in the meetings. Categories include:
The official Viva Topics app in Teams is rolling out to external customers.
Previously, we had built a Topics app for Teams as a script that Teams admins could upload. Now, the Topics app is available as a first party “Microsoft-built” app. This means the app is available in the app store for your tenant already, no upload or script-downloading required. Users in your tenant can either easily ‘add’ the app, like other Microsoft-built or Viva apps, or the Teams admins can select to have the Topics app pre-installed for users.
We will be retiring the support of TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 for outgoing requests from Power BI. Instead, we recommend the utilization of TLS 1.2 or above for outgoing requests, which is where we will continue to invest our development resources.
