Microsoft 365 admin center: Adoption Score People Experiences: Group level aggregates for Communication, Mobility & Collaboration

We are adding group level aggregates to Adoption Score people experiences across Communication, Content Collaboration and Mobility. Group information can be viewed across five Azure Active Directory attributes- Company, Department, Country, State and City. For group level aggregate information to be displayed, the capability must be enabled by a Global Administrator and a minimum of 10 users must be included in a group to ensure that individual users cannot be tracked.

Microsoft 365 admin center: Adoption Score – New insights and page redesign for the ‘Meetings’ People Experience category

We are releasing an updated meetings page with new insights and data on pre, during and post meeting features under people experiences in Adoption Score. The new page will have an updated scoring logic and will provide transparency on which recommended practices affect your score, which recommended practices show the most significant growth and also areas for improvement.

Universal Print: Integration with Excel web app

Users can print directly from Excel on the web, to the organization’s printers with Universal Print. Integrating Universal Print into Excel for the web gives authenticated user a new in-app print experience to search for an available printer in their organization and print to it, on any device with a supported browser without installing the printer.

SharePoint: Updates to site themes

We are introducing updates to site themes that will improve the experience. A new update for the Office theme in Classic SharePoint will align the presentation with the application experience. A second update will introduce visual changes to various modern SharePoint experiences to align with the Microsoft design system principles.

Microsoft Viva: New praise compose experience and praise trends

The praise composer – accessible through the messaging extension pinned to the Teams messaging bar or through the Viva Insights app in Teams – is being refreshed to replace praise badges with emojis and introduce the ability to select gradient backgrounds. Additionally, in the Viva Insights app in Teams, praise trends are being introduced, privately surfacing analytics such as counts of praise sent and received, your top fans and top praises received.

Focus Mode in Viva Insights Teams App

The focus time experience in Microsoft Teams is being enhanced for users with Viva Insights subscriptions. Users that have booked time through focus plan will receive a notification as their focus time nears. Upon clicking the notification, the user will enter a new focus mode experience. Focus mode will allow users to set a timer to balance short bursts of productivity with breaks, manage their task list, and tap into mindfulness exercises during their breaks.
