Microsoft 365 compliance center: In Insider Risk Management – Enhanced support for domains

Insider Risk Management now support enhanced classification of unallowed, allowed, and third-party domains leveraging wildcards. This helps improve classification of detections. Insider Risk Management in Microsoft 365 correlates various signals from the chip to the cloud to identify potential malicious or inadvertent insider risks, such as IP theft, security and policy violations, and more. Built with privacy by design, users are pseudonymized by default, and role-based access controls and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Teams: Exchange Contacts available in Calling pickers

Microsoft Information Protection: SIT Feedback Loop for Content explorer and DLP alerts

Admins can provide feedback for sensitive information type (SIT) False Positives via Content explorer and DLP Alerts. This feedback can be provided in a compliant manner and users can see a summary view of the feedback in the SIT overview page. The feedback will be used to make systematic fixes to SITs for improved accuracy.

Microsoft 365 compliance center: Communication Compliance -Message details report

This new Communication Compliance report provides a comprehensive summary of all activities and actions that have occurred against a policy, such as date sent, date flagged, reviewed by, message reconciliation, etc. By providing visibility into policy review activity, this feature can help organizations fulfill regulatory compliance obligations and better track the status and progress for unresolved policy violations. Communication Compliance helps organizations detect explicit code of conduct and regulatory compliance violations, such as harassing or threatening language, sharing of adult content, and inappropriate sharing of sensitive information. Built with privacy by design, usernames are pseudonymized by default, role-based access controls are built in, investigators are explicitly opted in by an admin, and audit logs are in place to help ensure user-level privacy.

Microsoft Information Protection: Apply default label policies to existing documents being edited (Excel on PC/Mac)

Users with default labeling policies will support applying that default to any supported document they edit. Previously this only applied to new documents. This update applies to Excel on PC and Mac.

Important information about your Microsoft 365 Office App launcher and All Apps experiences

To help improve the app exploration and discovery experience for users, beginning in April 2022, the Office App Launcher, All Apps (http://office.com/apps), and app search experiences will be updated to only list relevant Dynamics 365 apps, Power Apps apps, and Azure Active Directory integrated apps. Microsoft 365 applications listed in these experiences will not be affected.

Retirement of Yammer IP Range

Upcoming, we will be retiring the ability to specify an IP Range from where users can access Yammer. Instead, we recommend the utilization of Azure Conditional Access Policies, which is where we will continue to invest our development resources.

Create DocuSign requests using the compose extension

DocuSign users will now be able to create a request within a Chat or a Channel using the compose extension.An adaptive card will display the request details once the request has been created and will be updated with the progress of the request at it is signed by the recipients.

Notifications will be displayed to recipients & creators when a DocuSign request is created, signed/declined, cancelled, deleted or completed enabling users to know what’s happening with a request when it happens.

Increased Scale and Throughput for Graph Connectors

Microsoft Graph connectors enable your organization to index third-party content in Microsoft Search. The existing connection limit is 700,000. Microsoft is releasing an update to improve scale and throughput for Graph Connectors. The update will allow you to index up to 5M items in a single connection. This platform upgrade will also enable you to index content at a higher throughput of twenty-five documents per second.
