We added the ability to use a Teams channel with members as call agents for call queue call answering. Now we are bringing this capability to government clouds.

There will be a new chat filter within the Chat app which filters out meeting chats and chats with bots. It filters in one on one and group chats.

Walkie Talkie, a push-to-talk experience that enables clear and secure voice communication over the cloud, enables teams to communicate instantly and always stay on the same page. This native built-in app in Teams turns employee or company-owned iOS smartphones and tablets into a walkie-talkie, reducing the number of devices employees must carry and lowering costs for IT.

Users will be able to see LinkedIn profiles of their colleagues in 1:1 chat. The LinkedIn profile is available via the LinkedIn tab in the 1:1 chat panel.

App setup policies allow apps to be pre-installed and pinned to the app bar by the admin. App setup policies can now specifically be assigned to groups.

Admins can now add up-to three groups, instead of one previously, of educators and staff for applying the specialized custom set of policies.

Customize the number of chat messages you see on the screen. Use the compact setting to fit 50 percent more messages on the screen. Comfortable setting keeps the chat display as it is in Teams today.
This will be rolling out on Teams desktop.

We’re updating the default tag management settings based on customer feedback. The new defaults eliminate the need for team members to ask owners to create or edit tags on their behalf.
The Teams Admin Center default for who can manage tags will be updated from “Team owners” to “Team owners and members.” Tenant Admins still can override the default and limit Tag Create/Edit to Team Owners only. This simplifies the Tags permissions model and makes it consistent with other Teams concepts like Channels. If you have already made any changes to any option in the Tagging settings, your settings will not be updated and this change will not affect your tenant.
