Admins will be able to export the inactive teams and inactive domains reports to a csv file in Teams Admin Center.

IT admins can leverage Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery and legal hold needs to maintain compliance for webinars.

We are introducing a tenant configuration that admins can apply to limit user actions assigned to presenters in meetings. When enabled, presenters will no longer be able to control attendee mics and cameras, change the role of other participants, lower participants’ hands, and remove participants from the meeting. We want organizers to have control, flexibility, and structure in managing their meetings.

Frontline managers importing a schedule from Excel into Shifts will be capable of viewing the import history of their teams. This allows them to monitor the status and outcome of their import at anytime.

New VDI solution for Teams is a redesigned version of the existing VDI solution, providing enhanced performance, reliability, and security. It offers additional features such as advanced meeting capabilities and a simpler app update experience for users. This Roadmap entry applies to Windows endpoints connecting to Azure Virtual Desktops, Windows 365 and Citrix VDI environments only.

You will have a better way to reflect your team and group chat topic, with custom pictures. Group chat members can upload an image or use pre-selected illustrations and emojis, adding a layer of inclusivity and expression to their chat.

Microsoft Teams admins will soon be able to review and download a full list of app permission requirements in the Teams admin center on the newly redesigned Permissions tab on the App product details page.
When this will happen:

Users can quickly join a meeting from a Teams Room even without forwarding the invite to the room calendar by scanning a QR code using their native mobile camera. The user will then enter the Teams mobile companion mode experience on their mobile. The QR code is found on the Teams Room home screen and can also be scanned to start an ad-hoc meeting or cast content from their mobile to the Teams Room display. If the user does not have the Teams mobile app, they will be directed to download it after scanning the QR code. IT admins can control the QR code feature in the device settings and the Teams admin center. This feature supports cross-tenant meetings when the organization settings and user policies allow it.

When an end user reports an issue from a Teams Rooms device, a feedback event is raised in the Teams Rooms Pro Management portal. This event provides managers with the necessary data to act on the feedback or open a support case with logs that were generated by the end user. This feature is only available with the Teams Rooms Pro license.
