Microsoft Clipchamp is launching for Office 365 E3 and E5 commercial subscriptions

Clipchamp, a video editing tool, is launching for Office 365 E3 and E5 subscriptions. It will be accessible via its Windows app or on desktops through Edge or Chrome browsers. Users can edit videos in OneDrive or SharePoint, and it will appear activated in the Microsoft 365 Admin Console. General availability begins late August 2024. No other parts of Office 365 licenses will be affected.

Microsoft Purview | Purview Data Loss Prevention: New Microsoft Exchange predicates

Microsoft Teams: App update is available for phones with the Teams app installed

The Microsoft Teams app update 1449/1.0.94.2024071104 is rolling out mid to late July 2024, offering new features like explicit consent for recording, rich call history, enhanced call transfer, simplified contact management, and a private line feature. Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365: New Scheduled prompts feature

Microsoft Defender for Identity: New recommendations for Microsoft Secure Score

Microsoft Teams: Video tile re-sizing based on people count for Teams Rooms on Windows

Microsoft Teams will update the Gallery view to dynamically resize room video tiles based on participant count, optimizing visibility in Teams Rooms. This feature requires Cloud IntelliFrame or a camera with ASP capability. The rollout begins mid-August 2024, with automatic enablement but can be disabled by admins.
